These are very special spinel from Mozambique. Spinel from this origin are rare and are distinguished by a sleepy and soft quality due to very fine silky inclusions. These gems are brilliant, despite the 'sleepiness'. They have red fluorescence and are a super cute color. These gems are great for a pair of stud earrings, perhaps set into hexagons, or a partial eternity band, as well as sidestones in our Lily designs, among others.
